Seniors in high school. If you have known one, you most likely had some thought run through your mind immediately when you read those words. I've heard words like distracted, crazy, and goofy used to describe seniors, but whatever your take, they can be really fun to talk to.

Recently I got to talk to someone who is graduating this May, and it was interesting to watch the eyes and facial expressions change. We had talked about different topics, but when you got to the "How does it feel to only have a few months left?" question, the corners of the mouth turn up, the eyes start to sparkle, and the voice takes on a different, expectant tone with talk of the future.

For any of us, it is very much the same when we have something life-changing (in a good way) ahead of us. The same is certainly true about Warrior Leadership Summit this year.

I have been sitting in the room with some WLS veterans the past couple weeks, and every time we get talking about all the incredible pieces of WLS 2009, almost everyone starts having the "about to graduate" moments. The corners of the mouth turn up, the eyes start to sparkle, and there is an excited, expectant tone as we talk.

Maybe you are like me - maybe Ryan Seacrest in Times Square snuck up on you this year, and you were taken by surprise when you flipped the calendar page to 2009. Time flies! Right now, we are a very short five months from WLS 2009, and trust me, those days are going to fly by.

By now, you've already received your postcard, and within a few days you will be receiving the WLS 2009 promo DVD and registration materials. Here is my suggestion - DON'T WAIT to get going with your WLS plans! If you need information, call us. If you need money, get those bake sales and car washes going. But whatever you do, don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind, life-changing few days!

Know that our team is praying for you, and we look forward to updating this site regularly, so make sure you check back in as we get closer to Warrior Leadership Summit 2009!
